Welcome

Greetings! I am Dr. Denise Collier, Region West Superintendent. I serve 156 schools in Region West, one of four regions in Los Angeles Unified. I am honored and excited to work with such an incredible group of students, teachers, families, and school leaders. My commitments are listening to you, learning alongside you, and leading with compassion and grace. 
 
Our singular goal is to ensure that ALL of our students graduate READY FOR THE WORLD – destined to thrive in college, career, and life. 
 
As an educator for nearly 30 years and a current Los Angeles Unified parent, I wholeheartedly value the programs and services that our District has to offer. Region West will continue to promote academic excellence and safe, healthy, and equitable schools for all. 
 
This is an exciting time to be in Los Angeles Unified. Join us for Region West's annual STEAM Fest on May 2 at Los Angeles High School from 10am-2pm, a free event for our families. STEAM Fest is Region West's biggest event of the year featuring a pinewood derby, interactive booths, performances, a planetarium, and more! We are excited to see you there.
